AWS Security Engineer

Position Type: Full-Time Contract to Hire

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
5 years of experience in IT security, with a focus on AWS security.
Strong knowledge of AWS security services and best practices.
Strong knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure automation.
Experience with SIEM tools and AWS logging services.
Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (NIST, CIS, etc.)
Experience with setting AWS security standards / guardrails (SCPs, high level security policies, remote access procedures, IAM, etc..)
Experience in integrating AWS into the security stack (Wiz, Sentinel, etc...)
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
AWS Certified Security specialty or similar certifications preferred.
Experience with network design and security within AWS.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
