Job Description

Our client, a rapidly growing education organization in the San Francisco Bay Area, is seeking a mission-driven Business Analyst with Salesforce experience for a long-term project. This project will support our client’s ongoing systems work and play a crucial role in ensuring that the organization effectively utilizes Salesforce to enhance processes, improve customer relationships, and achieve overall organizational objectives through the effective use of their CRM platform.

The ideal candidate has experience in creating reports, conducting data analysis, managing member information, coordinating program enrollments, is committed to enhancing the member experience, is dedicated to ensuring that the CRM tool and Salesforce work seamlessly for all users, is highly service-oriented and thrives in a fast-paced environment

REQUIREMENTS:

Platform Development & Maintenance:

  • Provide ongoing support for system monitoring and optimization efforts, ensuring the platform remains efficient and reliable for end users.
  • Partner with technical teams to conduct platform maintenance, resolve issues, and perform root-cause analysis to identify and address system performance challenges.

Data Management:

  • Ensure the integrity and quality of data through regular reports and well-documented processes for data cleaning and validation to support operational needs.
  • Steward reporting activities that enable the accurate representation of data, ensuring transparency and alignment with business objectives.
  • Advocate for end-users in data-related decisions, ensuring that their needs are prioritized and met.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work collaboratively with diverse teams to gather requirements, define program needs, and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Facilitate the timely delivery of projects by coordinating with various departments and stakeholders, ensuring that all teams have what they need to succeed.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, fostering a culture of collaboration, open communication, and shared success.

Program Maintenance, Reporting, and Support:

  • Provide expert support and training to staff on utilizing Salesforce tools to their fullest potential, helping them to navigate the system effectively and efficiently.
  • Respond promptly to program staff inquiries and resolve issues related to program data and reporting to ensure smooth operations.
  • Address and resolve member inquiries and issues related to program enrollment, ensuring a positive experience for all members.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience (3+ years) working with Salesforce functionalities, including Salesforce platform development, data management, and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce integrated membership platforms – such as Procare (a plus)
  • Experience with data quality management, including the development of data cleaning
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, multi-tasker & highly organized, with a proven ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of communicating with all levels of the organization, with experience working in cross-functional teams
  • Outgoing and positive attitude, eager to learn, loves to take on challenges, problem-solver, and executes strategic thinking
