Location : Dallas, TX (Remote possible)

  Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Azure Cloud Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure. This role requires expertise in Azure infrastructure, automation, security, and DevOps practices. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will leverage your expertise in .NET to develop and deploy applications in the cloud environment, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.

  Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure to meet business and technical requirements.
  • Develop, test, and deploy .NET applications in the cloud environment with optimal resources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, security, networking, and business units) to deliver robust cloud solutions and ensure efficient application performance.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications.
  • Implement best practices for cloud security, data protection, and compliance.
  • Work with Azure DevOps to automate deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and configuration management.
  • Document processes, procedures, and cloud architecture for future reference and training.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Azure services, tools, and best practices to enhance cloud strategies.

  Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud technologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Functions, Azure App Services and Azure Fabrics.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
  • Proficiency in .NET development (C# preferred) and familiarity with .NET Core.
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI, Python).
  • Knowledge of cloud security best practices and identity management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and teamwork skills.



 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Developer).
  • Experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with other cloud platforms is a plus (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Experience with AI and Machine Learning services in Azure is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • This position is located in Dallas, Texas but has the ability to be hybrid or fully remote.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for tasks such as typing, using a computer mouse, and operating office equipment.
  • Vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus for tasks such as reading documents and viewing computer screens.
  • Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Occasional travel may be required for events, meetings, or client visits.
