Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Center Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for the physical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of server hardware within our data center environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with racking/stacking, server assembly, and basic networking to ensure seamless deployment and operations.

Responsibilities:

Racking and Stacking: Physically install, secure, and configure servers, storage systems, and networking equipment in data center racks.
Server Assembly: Build, configure, and install server components, including CPUs, memory, hard drives, and power supplies.
Cabling Management: Route and manage power and network cabling efficiently to maintain an organized infrastructure.
Troubleshooting & Repairs: Identify and resolve hardware issues, replace faulty components, and coordinate with vendors for RMAs as needed.

Experience:

Experience with racking, stacking, and cabling of servers and networking equipment.
Knowledge of server hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.
Understanding of basic networking concepts (IP addressing, VLANs, fiber/copper cabling, etc.).
Familiarity with remote management tools (iLO, iDRAC, IPMI) is a plus.
