As a Deputy Program Manager supporting US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) on the USSTRATCOM IT Lifecycle Support (SCITLS) contract, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on a Deputy Program Manager joining our team to support the Vice President Program Manager in performing the complex task of overseeing the enterprise IT services in support of the USSTRATCOM mission.
HOW THE Deputy Program Manager WILL MAKE AN IMPACT - Serve as the Deputy PM, assisting in the supervision and oversight of a large, diverse team of IT professionals supporting the SCITLS program
- Provide expert support to the customer by facilitating solutions in response to complex issues and emergent mission requirements.
- Assists the PM in the management of program performance and executes oversight, as directed by the PM, of activities performed by the SCITLS personnel, to include administrative (i.e., scope, cost, schedule) as well as personnel management (staffing, training, professional development)
- Coordinates/collaborates with the program's technical and business operations leadership to ensure efficient/effective service operations
- Assists the Program Manager in support to the customer's Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer Representatives
- Provides guidance, leadership and mentorship to the SCITLS team
- Collaborates with the SCITLS senior leadership staff to ensure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas required by the customer
- Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments.
- Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.
- Performs independent thinking, complex tasks with little to no supervision.
- Performs additional duties as required by the PM.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED: - Education : Bachelor's degree in a technical area
- Experience :
- Master's Degree and eight (8) years of experience or
- Bachelor's degree and ten (10) years of experience or
- HS Diploma and fifteen (15) years of experience
- Technical skills : Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Project, SharePoint
- Required Certifications :
- Project Management Profession (PMP) or Program Management Profession (PgMP) or equivalent as approved by COR
- ITIL Foundations
- Security clearance level : TOP SECRET with SCI eligibility
- Skills and abilities:
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Must be comfortable presenting to senior executives and VIPs.
- Strong problem solving and team building skills.
- Must possess a mission-focused mindset that thrives on delivering positive outcomes and takes pride in accomplishing goals on time and within budget.

The likely salary range for this position is $140,250 - $189,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
