Job Description

Position Overview:

A Diagnostic Electrician is responsible for identifying and troubleshooting electrical issues in various systems and equipment. This individual must have a strong understanding of electrical systems and possess the necessary skills and knowledge to perform advanced diagnostics and repairs.

• Conduct regular inspections and tests on electrical systems and equipment to identify potential issues or malfunctions.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems using various tools and techniques.
• Interpret technical documents and diagrams to determine proper repair methods.
• Repair or replace faulty electrical components and systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and avoid future issues.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to resolve complex electrical problems.
• Maintain accurate records of all inspections, tests, and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and electrical codes and regulations.

• Certified Electrician with a valid license.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and equipment.
• Experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and diagrams.
• Proficiency in using various tools and equipment for electrical diagnostics.
• Knowledge of PLC, VFD, AC/DC, HVAC, Low Voltage, and medium voltage systems is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Adherence to safety and electrical codes and regulations.
