Job Description

Lark Springs is searching for a dynamic Sales Director to join our team! Please consider joining us on our journey to provide the highest level of care for our residents living with dementia.

What You Will Do:

  • Establish goals oversee the daily operations of the department to attain or maintain targeted occupancy levels. Maintain compliance with all applicable rules, regulations, and guidelines. Monitor efficiency and effectiveness of departmental activities.
  • Design and implement the annual sales and marketing plan.
  • Plan ads, newsletters, and other advertising and public relations materials. Interface with the media outlets regarding interviews and press releases.
  • Plan, update and conduct sales and marketing presentations. Provide tours of the facility as part of strategic sales initiative.
  • Actively contribute towards improving public relations, increasing positive public regard and overall awareness of the facility.
  • Develop and actively participate in the Outreach Program by providing necessary resources, building contacts, creating awareness and garnering goodwill overall.
  • Plan and monitor the Move-in program to ensure the highest level of coordination and communication with new residents and their families.
  • Develop departmental budget, forecasts and staffing plans.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • The position reports to the Executive Director and is expected to perform independently and exercise good judgment. The position supervises, directs, and reviews the work of associates in the Sales department.

Why You Are Qualified:

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Combination of education and/or experience equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university, with major work in marketing or related field required.
  • At least three (3) years of progressively responsible work experience in marketing, the senior living care industry, or related field required.
  • Valid state driver’s license (and liability insurance) to use personal vehicle for Marketing travel required.
  • On a daily basis, throughout the workday: Must be capable of sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, reaching, turning, bending, stooping, crouching and kneeling, reaching over the head, grasping with both hands, and fine manipulation. Must physically be able to lift up to 15 pounds unassisted.
