Farm Mechanic/Operator job at Gpac Salem, OR, US

Job Description

Gpac is working with a well-respected Ag operation that is looking for a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Shop Mechanic . Excellent communication skills a must. Preferred applicants will have a minimum of 3 years Ag diesel repair and Farm Operations experience. This company offers very competitive pay and benefits.

Shop Mechanic Responsibilities:

Repairs ag equipment and diesel engines
Ensures that shop is equipped with the necessary tools and service equipment is available and maintained in good working order
Ensure maintenance and repairs on equipment is done timely and accurately
Assist with Farm Operations including tree planting and spraying
Class A CDL for trucking and deliveries

Shop Mechanic Requirements:

High School diploma/GED required (Associates/Bachelor's degree preferred)
3+ years Diesel Tech/Mechanic or Heavy Duty Diesel repair setting
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Class A CDL - have or able to obtain
