Who We Want

Our ideal  National Sales Executive / Insurance Consultant is someone who embraces the challenge of a rapidly growing business. You will be a key player in shaping your role, providing valuable insights that drive its development. You enjoy the challenge of hunting, developing, and managing partner relationships, using your solutions-driven approach to meet each client’s unique needs. You will be comfortable working independently, leveraging the J.T. Bates sales process to close deals.

What You’ll Do

  • Sales: Promote J. T. Bates services to prospective equipment dealers, rental houses, and re-rental marketplaces in the construction equipment industry nationwide. This may cross over to the Trucking and Auto Industry.
  • Ancillary Products: Head up this department.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships, ensuring ongoing satisfaction.
  • Consulting & Development: Work with clients to understand their needs, providing tailored solutions while ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful handoffs of projects and develop solutions to meet client needs.
  • Forecasting & Targets: Consistently meet or exceed forecasted sales revenue targets, tracking progress through a CRM system.
  • Travel: You’ll be responsible for up to 25% travel to meet clients and grow business opportunities.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 3+ years of successful outside B2B sales experience.
  • Strong CRM skills and experience managing client interactions.
  • Proven success in prospecting new business.
  • Ability to work remotely and independently.
  • Insurance license required.

Preferred:

  • 5+ years of successful outside B2B sales experience.
  • Insurance Producers License.
  • Located in Columbus Ohio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communication: Maintain professional communication with clients, partners, and internal teams.
  • Consulting & Product Development: Consult with clients to develop tailored solutions and assist in creating new product offerings.
  • Sales Growth: Proactively seek new leads, hold meetings, and close deals to grow sales.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures throughout all client interactions and transactions.
  • Multitasking: Handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
