We are hiring a Laundry Attendant for our growing clinical team!  Our Laundry Attendant will primarily be responsible for ensuring that clean linens are supplised to the clients.Our Laundry attendant will be responsible for sorting, washing, drying, and folding clothes and other textile items.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Look at all of your linens and treat any stains that you find
  • Place all laundry in the washer and add the cleaning agents as directed
  • Take out the clothes or linens after washing and dry them following the manufacturers recommendations
  • Ensure all cleaning supplies are in stock and indicate any shortages to the Director of Operations
  • Inspect laundry equipment visually and report any maintenance issues by adding to Upkeep
  • Inventory linens at least once a week and report shortages to the Director of Operations

Key Experience and Education Needed:

  • High School Diploma or GED  

 

Other Qualifications to be Considered:

  • Knowledge and understanding of laundry services and processes
  • Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and organization.  
  • Computer literate with experience in Windows and Google environments.  
  • Ability to prioritize work- and work-related responsibilities.  
  • Ability to exhibit professional and courteous behavior, consistent with the ARC mission  statement, when interacting with persons of varying backgrounds and education levels to create  a safe and healthy relationship with clients served 
  • Flexibility to adapt to schedule changes and assumption of responsibilities not delineated in the  job description which are related to work as a member of an addiction treatment team.  

• Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time 

• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs. 

• Ability to operate commercial washers and dryers

• Must have sufficient mobility to move around the laundry room and campus
