Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of machinery, including CNC and milling machines, to produce high-quality components that meet our production standards. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, technical drawings, and the ability to work efficiently in a factory environment.

Duties

• Operate and monitor CNC machines and milling machines to ensure optimal performance and quality output.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to set up machinery accurately.
• Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to ensure precision in machining processes.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Use measuring tools such as calipers to verify dimensions of finished products against specifications.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Assist in CAM programming for machine operations as needed.
• Operate forklifts safely for material handling tasks within the factory environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in machining or as a machine operator in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with CNC operations, milling machines, and basic machining principles.
• Knowledge of GD&T practices is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
• Experience with CAM programming is a plus.
• Ability to operate forklifts; certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Must possess good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
