Job Description

Maintenance Associate

Reports To: Facilities Manager

Division:      Maintenance

Non-Exempt

Summary: Ensures the day-to-day upkeep and functionality of all North Florida Sales’ office spaces, buildings, machinery and grounds.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reports to work on each assigned day, at the assigned time.  Some Saturdays are mandatory.  Schedule subject to change as needed.
  • Paints interior and exterior walls including parking lot.
  • Repairs and replaces interior and exterior floors as needed.
  • Responsible for the upkeep of facility outdoor grounds.
  • Maintains facility doors both interior and exterior.
  • Troubleshoots non-functioning equipment and machinery.
  • Performs maintenance on equipment and machinery such as shrink wrapper, can crusher, scrubber, etc. including following proper tagging procedures.
  • Performs general maintenance and repair of facility to include electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, etc.
  • Oversees proper functioning of truck washer.
  • Assists with custodial duties as needed.
  • Maintains NFS’ culture of dignity and respect and works as a productive member of a team.
  • Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
  • Responsible for all equipment issued and/or used in the course of performing duties.
  • Attends North Florida Sales’ meetings as required.
  • Adheres to all Anheuser-Busch policies.
  • Adheres to all State Beverage Laws.
  • Wears only company provided uniforms.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

High School diploma or general education degree (GED).

Knowledge and/or experience working with hand tools, electricity and chemicals related maintenance duties.   

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to write reports or correspondence.  Ability to speak and communicate well with customers.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with several concrete variables in standardized situations.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or scheduled form.

The work environment is typical of those found in warehouse settings.  Additionally, employees consistently encounter cold temperatures of less than 40° , and distinct odors associated with beer.
