Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat emotional, mental, and behavioral disorders
• Conduct initial intake appointments to gather patient information
• Develop and update treatment and safety plans to that both therapist and client can follow
• Provide an array of evidence-based therapy and brief psychological assessments for a diverse patient population
• Perform case management tasks
• Perform administrative tasks as needed
• Implement emergency care techniques and protocols when patients are in crisis
• Provide referrals for additional care or services when required
• Maintain detailed confidential records within EHR
• Maintain confidentiality and remain HIPPA compliant via telehealth practices
• Follow clinical practice policy and procedures
• Attend trainings as required for professional and program development
• Participate in multidisciplinary team conferences with psychiatrists and additional staff

Requirements

• MUST be licensed in Michigan
• LCSW/LMSW License required
• Must be in good standing with professional licensing board
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and clients
• Ability to remain calm under stressful conditions
• Able to work collaboratively with psychiatrists and administrative staff
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, to meet deadlines, and to work in a team environment
• Ability and willingness to learn new systems

Additional Information

The expected base pay for this role depends on clinical license and experience. We offer full-time 1099 or W-2 positions with a salary range from $55,000 to $75,000, or part-time 1099 positions with a pay per visit model. However, base pay will be determined on an individualized basis and will be impacted by location and years of experience. Further, base pay is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other PsychPlus Health-sponsored benefits.
