Job Title: Order Management Specialist

Industry: Distribution

Location: Beaverton, OR (onsite with opportunity to work one day per week from home)

Salary: $24 - $28.85 per hour plus annual bonus

Employment Type: Contract to hire or direct hire, dependent upon experience

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm

Job Description:

LHH Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Order Management Specialist to join our client's team in Beaverton, OR. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth processing and management of customer orders, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and the ability to handle order entry and logistics-related tasks utilizing ERP and Excel. Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Entry and Management (80%):
  • Accurately enter and process customer orders in the system.
  • Monitor order status and ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Communicate with customers regarding order confirmations, updates, and any issues.
  • Maintain and update order records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve order discrepancies and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Logistics (20%):
  • Coordinate with shipping and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Track shipments and manage delivery schedules.
  • Handle any logistics-related issues and provide solutions to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist in inventory management and stock level monitoring.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in order management, logistics or similar role.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience using an ERP or similar system is a big plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
