Reports to:             Ticket Operations Manager

Rate:                        Position starts at $22.75/HR

Lumen Field has an excellent opportunity for a friendly and enthusiastic part-time Box Office Associate. If you are skilled in customer service, have typing skills, and would enjoy working with others at many Lumen Field events, this is the perfect position for you!

The Box Office Associate assists patrons in person and on the phone with customer service, single ticket sales, will call, exchanges, and related services. Employees in this job may be assigned to both Box Office window and phone functions, depending on the venue needs. This position directly reports to the Director of Ticket Operations and Ticket Operations Manager.

We are looking for candidates who demonstrate outstanding customer service and attention to detail, and who are team players, enthusiastic, and bring a positive attitude! Attendance and Punctuality are imperative, as well as adjusting to a flexible schedule to accommodate event hours.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist walk up customers with their ticket purchase to venue event(s)
  • Provide general venue information to patrons
  • Handle customer ticket issues, or appropriately escalate to other personnel as needed
  • Accurately balance cash and credit card receipts at the close of shift
  • Process and distribute will call during events
  • Answer patron questions promptly, accurately, respectfully, and thoroughly
  • Possess strong computer and typing skills 
  • Provide assistance to full-time Box Office staff on administrative projects
  • Contribute to a positive, supportive team environment
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to make decisions during high-pressure situations
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer service and/or guest relations
  • Ticketing experience, specifically Ticketmaster software, a plus 
  • Familiar with handling and balancing money
  • Able to work in an upbeat and often fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable answering customer questions and patience to resolve customer service issues
  • Organizational skills: the ability to multi-task, to remain calm in a busy work environment, and ability to maintain a high level attention to detail
  • High school diploma (or GED) and 18 years of age or older
  • Must live local and be able to attend scheduled events
  • Must be able to pass a background check

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Advanced oral and written communication skills.
Ability to speak in a professional manner via telephone or in person with guests, visitors and fans.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to lift and move boxes and other items up to 50 lbs.
