About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to join our team in Waterloo, NY. In this full-time role, you will ensure all employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local laws. You will provide leadership and guidance to Payroll Coordinators and serve as a liaison with the onboarding and benefits team.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the payroll process to ensure timely and accurate compensation for all employees.
Ensure compliance with all payroll-related laws and regulations.
Develop and implement internal controls to enhance payroll accuracy and prevent fraud.
Ensure timely filing and payment of annual and quarterly payroll taxes and reports.
Collaborate closely with the Finance team to ensure accurate payroll reporting in financial statements.
Supervise the HR/Payroll Assistant, providing mentorship and support.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or Business, or a minimum of seven years of related experience, with at least three years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of payroll laws and practices; Certified Payroll Professional designation is preferred.
A valid New York State Driver's License that meets agency standards.
Ability to lift as required.
Scheduled Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 am to 4 pm
Full-Time: 37.5 hours per week
Location: Seneca County
