Power BI & Analytics Specialist
Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite)
Job Description (JD):
Required Skills:
Proficiency in SQL Query, Power BI DAX Query, Snowflake, and Power BI report building.
Experience collaborating with business partners and Project Management Systems (PMS) to understand KPIs and create dashboards based on business requirements.
Qualifications:
(i) 8+ years of experience in analytics.
(ii) Expertise in Power BI and Tableau technical development.
(iii) Ability to work independently.
(iv) Consultant should have experience in requirements gathering, user story development, data visualization, and report-building technical skills.
Proficiency in understanding business problems and devising reporting solutions, including consolidating and creating new reports.
Key Skill Sets (include but are not limited to):
(a) Data analysis and data profiling.
(b) Elicitation and documentation of reporting requirements.
(c) Agile Delivery methodology.
(d) Power BI development based on a sprint lifecycle, including:
Grooming of user stories,
Sprint planning,
Sprint execution,
Release to production,
Sprint retrospection.
(e) SQL and data validation.
(f) Familiarity with ETL processes and tools, such as Alteryx.
(g) Experience in building scientific and mathematical models using modern technology and machine learning techniques for business analysis.
(h) Ability to automate reports to eliminate manual processes and improve effectiveness, accuracy, and efficiency.
