We are looking for a Principal Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic team in Raleigh, NC . This high-impact role is ideal for a seasoned electrical engineer with expertise in analog/digital hardware design, PCB development, and power supply design —particularly within the medical device industry .
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Design and develop analog and digital hardware systems .
✅ Perform PCB design, review, and validation .
✅ Develop and optimize power supply designs for medical devices.
✅ Conduct root cause analysis and debugging for complex electrical systems.
✅ Lead value engineering initiatives to improve product performance and cost efficiency.
✅ Optimize BOM selection and component sourcing for reliability and scalability.
✅ Work on high-speed design for next-generation medical technology.
✅ Drive prototype development, first article inspection, and validation .
Qualifications & Skills:
🎓 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
📌 6+ years of hands-on experience in electrical engineering.
📌 Strong expertise in analog/digital circuit design and troubleshooting .
📌 Proficiency in schematic capture tools and engineering software .
📌 Solid problem-solving and debugging skills for electrical components.
📌 Experience in the medical device industry and familiarity with FDA regulations is preferred.
📌 Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills in a team-oriented environment.
