Job Description

**Job Title: Product Specification Specialist (Fully Remote)**

We are seeking creative and technically skilled individuals to join our team as Product Specification Specialists. In this role, you will generate 2-D and 3-D drawings and renderings for various furniture projects, collaborating with dealers and sales representatives to provide technical support and determine project criteria. This is an excellent opportunity to develop and refine your technical design skills and gain a strong foundation that complements many different design-driven positions.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

- Generate 2-D and 3-D drawings for furniture projects of various sizes.
- Manage changes and revisions related to projects.
- Specify all product lines and demonstrate a good understanding of product codes.
- Collaborate with furniture dealers and sales representatives to provide technical support.

**Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements**

- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or three to six years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Degree in Interior Design or CAD drafting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, CAP 20/20, Visual Impressions, and CET Designer.
- Ability to check own work and ensure accuracy.
- Knowledge of AS400.
- Proven track record of completing assignments in a timely manner with a proactive and self-starter approach.
- Strong multitasking skills, with the ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals, as well as effectively present information to various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in basic mathematics, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
