Job Description

AtWork Personnel is currently partnering with a well-established (founded 1992) Las Vegas Construction Company that is in search of an Underground Utilities Project Manager to join their Management Team. This is a newly created position, as the Company is seeing tremendous growth with continued expectations over the next few years. Compensation: $100 - 120K+/ Excellent Benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Tuition Reimbursement, Holidays, PTO, 401K and Company Match

In this role, the PM will be responsible for leading and managing underground utility construction projects from inception to completion, inclusive of overseeing the planning, budgeting, scheduling and execution of utility infrastructure projects. Additionally, there will be project oversight of the related paving, concrete, gas, power, and telecommunications systems.

The ideal Candidate will have 5 - 10 years' experience as an Underground Utilities Project Manager, or an Assistant PM with Underground Utilities experience, ready to move into the PM role. The main responsibilities will be to ensure compliance with safety standards, while coordinating with the Construction Manager and Superintendent, while building and maintaining Client relationships.

Responsibilities:

Lead all phases of underground utility construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, permitting and execution.

Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and adjust timelines as needed to accommodate changes and challenges.

Visit project sites to gather data and assess conditions that may impact project timelines.

Work closely with the Construction Manager and Superintendents to gather necessary information and clarify project details.

Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

Provide regular updates and progress reports to senior management and clients, addressing challenges and solutions to maintain transparency and project alignment.

Qualifications:

  • The ideal Candidate will have 5 - 10 years experience as an Underground Utilities Project Manager, or an Assistant PM with Underground Utilities experience, ready to move into the PM role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, subcontractors and colleagues.
  • Proven experience managing underground utilities construction projects
  • Familiarity with asphalt, concrete materials, construction processes, & relevant regulations
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work collaboratively within a team and assist others as needed.
  • Understanding the importance of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Proficiency w/Estimating Software & Tools, Excel, Word,
  • OSHA 30
