Day to Day:
An employer is seeking Distribution Designers to join an Engineering Consulting firm in the Charlotte area. They will be responsible for designing and redesigning power distribution layouts for a large Energy Supplier in the Carolinas under the direct supervision of the engineering manager. They will be tasked with designing layouts and redesigning grids for the client as needed. The ideal candidate will have a background in power or utilities distribution or is a recent graduate with a strong will to learn and grow with a company.
Must Haves:
• Solid Works/MicroStation/AutoCAD or any 2D or 3D drafting software experience
• Experience as autocad drafter/technician in telecom, electrical, or utilities field Internship or Sr. Capstone Project Engineering degree (mechanical, civil, electrical, industrial)
Compensation:
$22/hr to $25/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
