Contract – Full-time Hours

Duration: 6 months (possible extension)

We are seeking a Senior Network Architect (Wireless) with proven expertise in enterprise-grade wireless and network solutions to join our dynamic IT Architecture team. In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of complex Aruba wireless and Cisco-based switching infrastructures . You’ll play a pivotal part in shaping our wireless architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and security across all network layers.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable Aruba wireless and Cisco switching solutions across enterprise environments.
• Provide technical leadership for network architecture and serve as the subject matter expert on wireless technologies.
• Design resilient, high-availability network infrastructure supporting LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and cloud environments .
• Collaborate with IT leaders and cross-functional teams to assess business needs and translate them into network solutions.
• Lead and execute lifecycle projects, including migrations, upgrades, and greenfield deployments.
• Optimize network performance and availability by conducting regular performance analyses and implementing tuning improvements.
• Ensure wireless and wired network environments are compliant with security protocols and best practices (RADIUS, LDAP, TACACS+, PKI, SAML).
• Support integration with security platforms such as ClearPass , Active Directory , and network access control solutions.
• Monitor and resolve high-level incidents; lead root cause analyses using tools such as Wireshark, NetFlow, and SolarWinds .
• Develop detailed documentation including network diagrams, configurations, and SOPs.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical training when necessary.
• Stay current on Aruba, Cisco, and wireless industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in network architecture, design, and implementation (wireless and switching).
• Expertise in Aruba Technologies , including wireless controllers, ClearPass, and Aruba Central.
• Advanced knowledge of Cisco switching (Catalyst, Nexus) , TCP/IP , VLANs, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
• Strong background in wireless security , authentication protocols, and wireless RF design.
• Skilled in interpreting and capturing network traffic, log analysis, and advanced troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with automation tools like Python, Ansible, or Bash scripting is a plus.
• Experience working in multi-site enterprise environments with high availability and fault tolerance requirements.

Preferred Certifications

• CCNA / CCNP
• Aruba Certified Professional (ACP) or Aruba Certified Associate (ACA)
• ClearPass Certification
