Senior Project Manager to join our team in
Iowa City, IA . PMs are responsible for different projects ranging from small-scale to long term, multi-discipline contracts with clients. Ideal candidates have internal drive, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and easily adapt to changes using problem solving.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Establish a roadmap to success: have an execution plan and continuous alignment with the team members about the project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Oversee projects to assure that expectations are met
- Monitor projects and take action when obstacles arise
- Facilitate and lead meetings to encourage information sharing, collaboration, and team building
- Be the primary point of contact with the client project manager
- Create detailed deliverables schedule
- Know the master service agreement (MSA) and financial terms.
Basic Qualifications: - BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering
- 15+ years engineering experience
- Supervision experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Project
- Communication skills vital
- Knowledge of general project operations and project management.
Desired Skills: - PMP certified
- Masters in Engineering or MBA
