Job Title: Social Media Executive

Location: East Coast, U.S. Fully Remote (with travel to locations: Chicago, Long Beach, London, Toulouse, Austin, Kerrville, and Toronto)

Role Overview:

We’re looking for a dynamic and creative Social Media Executive to join our growing Supertri Content team. This role will play a key part in executing our social media strategy across Supertri’s professional and age group events, with a focus on community growth, brand storytelling, and digital engagement. You'll help shape how Supertri shows up across platforms in North America and globally.

This is a fully remote position, ideally based on the U.S. East Coast, with flexibility to work remotely while supporting live events and content capture on-site as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute and manage the daily social media strategy for several of Supertri’s Mass Participation Events - Chicago Triathlon, Long Beach Triathlon, Toronto Triathlon, Austin Triathlon, Kerrville Triathlon and Toulouse Triathlon (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, YouTube)
  • Support the development of platform-specific content calendars, ensuring timely, engaging, and on-brand storytelling
  • Collaborate with creative, content, and commercial teams to bring campaigns to life across social channels
  • Monitor performance analytics, track KPIs, and generate monthly performance reports with actionable insights
  • Engage directly with the Supertri audience—responding to comments, fostering community conversations, and identifying ambassador or creator content to amplify
  • Support live coverage of key Supertri events, including travel to major U.S.-based races (e.g., Chicago) and remote coordination of global event coverage. This includes live clipping and distribution to relevant partners. 
  • Stay on top of platform trends and emerging formats, and recommend new opportunities for innovation or growth

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of experience in social media, content, or digital marketing (in-house or agency)
  • Proven track record of managing brand or influencer social media accounts across multiple platforms
  • Strong understanding of content best practices, visual storytelling, and social-first tone of voice
  • Basic graphic or video editing skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Premiere Rush, CapCut, etc.) a plus
  • Passion for endurance sports, fitness, or live events is a major advantage
  • Willingness to travel for select live events (primarily on weekends, ~4–6 times/year)
