We’re Pelican Brewing Company and we got our start as a destination brewpub on the sand at the base of Cape Kiwanda. Today, we operate that original flagship brewpub in Pacific City, another brewpub in Cannon Beach, our production brewery and taproom in Tillamook - where most of our award-winning beers are produced, and are currently in the process of building an exceptional fourth Pelican brewpub on the water at Siletz Bay just south of Lincoln City.

You are a culinary professional who is excited to deliver an extraordinary coastal experience to each and every guest at Pelican Brewing in Pacific City. You possess a passion for hospitality and providing a memorable experience, a strong work ethic, advanced problem solving and communication skills, and are familiar with industry best practices. Most importantly, you’re a leader who others desire to follow. Culinary degree or experience a sous chef in a fast-paced kitchen is a plus!

  • Maintain the highest standards of food preparation and recipe execution;
  • Show off your passion and knowledge about pairing great food and great beer together;
  • Work well under pressure and confidently lead the back of house team in a fun and fast paced, high-volume kitchen;
  • Lead and build a collaborative culinary team by directing professional development with active coaching;
  • Motivate the team and recognize their success;
  • Be our go to person for effective kitchen operations; and
  • Continue your professional growth by attending events and seminars to learn industry best practices.
