Responsibilities

• Plan and execute audits in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards (GAAS)
• Build and maintain strong relationships with nonprofit clients, serving as their primary point of contact
• Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations
• Communicate project status effectively and meet deadlines
• Travel to client sites as needed (hybrid model)
• Participate in firm training and development activities

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• CPA or actively working towards CPA certification
• Proven track record of success in auditing nonprofit organizations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for making a positive impact in the nonprofit sector
