Our company is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in our Jacksonville, FL facility that will play a crucial role in assisting the Warehouse Manager in overseeing a team of warehouse workers to ensure smooth operations, efficient workflow, and adherence to safety protocols.

Warehouse Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Team Supervision: Lead and manage a team of warehouse associates, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
• Task Coordination: Assign daily tasks such as picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all warehouse activities comply with company quality standards, including packaging and handling of goods.
• Training: Train new team members on warehouse operations, safety guidelines, and company procedures.
• Safety Management: Enforce safety policies, conduct safety briefings, and ensure a safe working environment.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory counts, and help resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Problem Solving: Address issues related to operations, equipment, or personnel and ensure they are resolved quickly.
• Reporting: Provide updates to warehouse manager on team performance, any operational challenges, and overall progress.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Supervisor Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in warehouse operations, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and develop a team.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of inventory control principles, warehouse safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Forklift certification and/or other relevant certifications (desired).

Warehouse Supervisor Other Requirements:

• Ability to work in an office & warehouse environment.
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment with varying temperatures and humidity levels.
• Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends as needed.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment.
