Our client, a New York City Agency, seeks detail-oriented individual to serve as Immigration Case Reviewer, who will be responsible for conducting thorough reviews of migrant cases, adjudicating cases, and maintaining accurate case records. This is for a temporary, long-term role. The position is on-site in Manhattan, New York. Proficiency in multiple languages is highly desirable to facilitate communication with diverse client base. Pay rate is $28. Weekend and night work is possible.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough reviews of migrant cases to identify legal issues and potential remedies.
Adjudicate cases in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
Communicate decisions to clients and provide explanations as needed.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive case records and documentation.
Collaborate with Legal Supervisors and other team members to resolve complex cases.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in law, social sciences, or a related field.
Experience in case review, adjudication, or legal assistance preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and attention to detail.
Multi-lingual proficiency preferred. Primary languages preferred for bi-lingual or multi-lingual representatives will be Arabic, French, Spanish, Russian, and Wolof.
