About us

Acucote, Inc. is a coater/laminator of self-adhesive materials with 30 years of experience. Headquartered in Graham, NC with national distribution - OH, TX, PA, CA. We Utilize aqueous coatings, adhesives (acrylic & rubber resin) and silicone release systems. Acucote is a customer, application centric and capabilities driven company.

Responsibilities:

· Perform assigned repair and preventative maintenance activities

· Routinely inspects and maintains building and installed systems including but not limited to manufacturing machinery, plumbing systems, roofs, drains, shop, and grounds

· Performs minor and routine repairs including but not limited to painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, PLCs and other related maintenance activities using good maintenance procedures and codes

· Assists with the installation and modification of building equipment systems

· Creates and maintains up-to-date service and replacement data files for building equipment and machinery

· Communicates need for major repairs or additions to equipment to appropriate manager

· Responds in a timely fashion to problems related to facility maintenance and repair

· Makes recommendations to upgrade maintenance operations and/or implement savings opportunities

· Inspects buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions

· Inspects new installation for compliance with building codes and safety regulations

· Maintains a clean, safe working environment

· Possesses and maintains a high level of competency and efficiency in all aspects of maintenance operations

· Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures

· Ensure all activities are conducted safely and within safety guidelines/procedures

· Performs other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred
• 3 to 5 years related experience or equivalent
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, PLCs, carpentry, and industrial maintenance
• Ability to work at heights and in inclement weather
• Commitment to excellence and high standards
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
• Demonstrated ability to plan and organize projects
• Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
• Basic proficiency on Microsoft Outlook, Access, Excel, and Word
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions

Note: Relevant field such as industrial electrician or field service is highly desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $26.00-$27.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 2:00pm-10:00pm

OR

• 10:00pm-6:00am

Experience:

• Industrial mechanic: 3 years (Required)

Ability to Relocate:
