About the Role:

Were on the hunt for a dedicated Associate Attorney to join our clients personal injury litigation team. This is a fulltime role based in Torrance CA with the option for one remote workday per week after the completion of the probationary period. Youll manage a caseload of 3040 personal injury cases from filing to trial and collaborate with a skilled legal team. If you have a minimum of three years experience in plaintiff personal injury litigation and a passion for achieving the best outcomes for clients we want to meet you!

Your Mission:

• Manage a caseload of 3040 personal injury cases from filing through trial ( case management personal injury litigation ).
• Develop case strategies and legal theories to maximize outcomes for clients ( litigation strategy legal theory ).
• Draft and prepare legal documents including pleadings motions and other caserelated documents ( legal drafting document preparation ).
• Take and defend depositions including those of plaintiffs defendants and expert witnesses ( depositions litigation ).
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes ( settlement negotiation ).
• Serve as second chair during trials when necessary ( trial support litigation ).
• Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates and answer questions ( client communication relationship management ).
• Oversee and direct support staff ensuring efficient case management ( leadership case management ).

Core Competencies:

• Case Management & Litigation : Proven ability to handle highvolume personal injury cases through all stages of litigation.
• Legal Drafting & Research : Expertise in drafting pleadings motions and conducting legal research.
• Client Relationship Management : Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and a clientfocused approach.
• Team Leadership & Collaboration : Skilled in working with and overseeing support staff while collaborating with the legal team.

What You Bring:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active member of the California State Bar in good standing.
• 3 years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience.
• Experience managing a highvolume caseload with successful outcomes.
• Strong legal research analytical and communication skills.

Skills Required:

• Personal Injury Litigation : Experience managing personal injury cases from filing through trial.
• Legal Research & Writing : Expertise in drafting pleadings and motions.
• Client Communication : Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Leadership & Collaboration : Ability to lead support staff and collaborate with a legal team.
• Trial Support : Experience or willingness to serve as second chair during trials.

Certifications:

• California State Bar License Required.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) Required.
